History:
Xian was born to a Japanese father and a Chinese mother near Osaka, Japan. He spent most of his life before leaving Japan learning about the sword, and the way of the warrior. When Xian turned 9, His father was killed in a dispute with a bandit, forcing Xian and his mother to leave Japan and return to her families household in Qiang Province. As Xian grew in Qiang, he continued the lessons his father had given him, using a wooden sword to stimulate the skills he would use later in life.
As Xian grew, He was schooled by his mother's family in Chinese History, The Art of War, and a small measure of politics. Due to the life he'd lead up until then, Xian had grown arrogant in the few years he'd lived in Qiang, and by the time he turned 13 he was getting into fights almost every day, up until several of the older children, who's siblings he'd beaten, ganged up and beat him ruthlessly, leaving him to drag himself home. Xian learned that day that he wasn't unbeatable, and it was a lesson that would stay with him for the rest of his life.
When Xian turned 16 he met a traveling mystic by the name of Zuo Ci who spoke to him of the Tao, and partially convinced him to follow the Tao. After spending the next year in Qiang learning all he could of Taoism Xian left Qiang province. Along his travels over the next two years Xian acquired his Dao and his Guan Dao from a blacksmith in Chang An, as well as learning more about the Tao and the ways of war.
